Judging of the companies will be conducted in two phases: preliminary and final.  Preliminary judging will include sorting the companies based on their licensing, business practices, standard of operation, experience, expertise, size of operation and their record with various governing bodies of the moving industry. Each company will then either be accepted or disqualified to the final selection phase. Any company that doesn’t meet the stringent standards is disqualified.

In the final selection phase, a more detailed analysis is done to determine the customer satisfaction rating based on feedback, claim ratio compared to the volume of moves performed, safety standards maintained, customer support offered and extra credits are given to companies involved in supporting their community. Since the year 2008, we have added ‘Green practices’ as a criteria for extra credit in our final selection process.

During the final selection phase, each entry will be reviewed and rated. The rating will be done on a scale of 1-10. In case of a tie, the company with the most customer satisfaction rating will be chosen.
